Bluebird Express, LLC was founded in 2002 by James
Gillett and Raymond Boccia, both with diverse backgrounds
in the express air courier and freight forwarding
industries.
From the beginning, it was recognized that no
two customers have the same shipping needs and
that by understanding our clients’ businesses;
Bluebird Express has been able to provide an unparalleled
level of service to meet individual needs.
One year later, Bluebird Express became IATA /
CNS certified, giving access to 268 airlines worldwide
and enabling us to have the ultimate flexibility
when providing service to customers.
In 2004, state-of-the-art software installed giving
customers the ability to:
- book shipments online
- track shipment
- create shipping reports
This software gives Bluebird Express the ability
to email:
- Air Waybills to customers
- Manifests to Bluebird Express offices and service
partners worldwide
- Invoices for payment direct to customer accounts
payable departments
2004 also saw the opening of Bluebird Canada in Toronto.
In addition to offices in London, Los Angeles, New
York, and together with service partners worldwide,
Bluebird Express is able to reach the four corners
of the globe.
